Hello my name is Sharon Evans and I am an expert in business coaching for direct sales, as well as network marketing. I’m an author, I’m a speaker, I’m a consultant, and today I want to show you how I keep an unlimited flow of prospects into my funnels for my business. I’m going to give you a few of the basic points that you want to make sure that you’ve exhausted and you think about daily. One of the things that you might have heard before is about, basically your cold calls or your cold market. That’s one of the items and we don’t want to forget about that, but that’s there. The other thing is that you might build a website and on that website you can have a call to action where people give you their information because they’re looking for a business opportunity just like yours.


Now that’s, you know one of the things we want to make sure we list here so give that some thought. Something else you might do is you might join or actually create your own Facebook groups. I’ve done several of these myself and you can find an almost unlimited amount of prospects there. You can search for the areas in the groups of the kind of people that you want to join you, and the kind of people that you’re most interested in bringing into your business to join you as partners. That’s another one of the things that you want to include on your list, so we’ve got Facebook groups.


Something else you can do and I’ve done quite a few of these is you can actually create LinkedIn groups. There are just hundreds of groups out there on LinkedIn and you can create one for the exact topic that you want to share on. The other neat thing about LinkedIn is you can go looking for the people that you want to join your group, and invite them into your group. One of the things we used to do is you were able to message these people for free, and LinkedIn’s gone and changed a bunch of rules where you actually have to pay to contact people. If you have some paid contacts in your pocket you can do that, otherwise you’re going to have to make connections other ways. I can share with you another time on how you might really exhaust LinkedIn, but that’s another way.


Now some of the standard things that lots of people try is placing an ad on either Kajiji, or on Craigslist. Some of those, they kind of work but they kind of don’t. Lots of people just start their business, they think about I’m going to just do this. Some of the paid ads work really good, the other things that work well are, there’s a real strategy about Craigslist. It’s a little bit crazy as far as what kinds of things you have to do in order to not get shut down, a little bit labor intensive for me. I also really want to drill into your mind are those the people that you want in your business? If you’re selling widgets there might be tons of people on Kajiji, and Craigslist that are looking for widgets. If you’ve got something a lot better than that you probably want to put some more thought into who are the audience that you’re targeting. I’ll just write that on here, and I’ll just put Kajiji. Kajiji is a Canadian freebie version.


The other things you might want to do is exactly what I’ve chosen to do and that’s create some video that can allow you to position yourself as the expert in your market that you really want people to see, and also to join you. I get to express my personality to you and you get to see me, and you get to decide whether you’d like me to be your coach. That’s the name of the game, you’re joining me and if you really want to have me as a partner than that’s something you can do here. One of the other things that you might do is you might look and spend some time on some of the industry blogs, whichever industry you are in. Spend some time inside there, you might do some commenting, some communicating, actually collaborating with people there and connect, really connect with people that you want to partner with you in your business. You can actually find out what somebody’s personality is really like when you read what they’ve been writing about. We’ll just put blogs here for now.

How to find leads


Finally there’s old school. Please, please don’t walk through the aisles at Walmart and say, “I’m going to get this guy,” because that really doesn’t work. That’s not who you want in your business. If you happen to be inside of a business that you’re frequenting and you meet somebody, and their personality is absolutely sparkling, you want them to your team, you want them to come and work with you, or you happen to think I have something that’s perfect for this person, start a conversation. That’s exactly what I wanted to share with you today, I want to put that on here in case you happen to be screen shotting this. That’s what I do when I’m studying from video.
